97% of scrap cars can be recycled
Everyone is crazy about cars, but once they become old, malfunctioning, unusable, they often end up polluting the environment. Disposal of car wrecks and tires in public areas is prohibited and punishable by a fine. Such waste is to be taken to recycling yards where it is disposed of in an environmentally safe way. In Croatia, 97% of waste vehicles are recycled and reused as a valuable raw material used for making new products: car parts, speed bumps, children playgrounds’ surfaces, wall paint, furniture, radiators, window panes… There is is always a way.
